Military aircraft and systems

EADS North America, together with its operating companies, is proud of its track record of providing the American military with superior, made-in-America aircraft and related systems. Our Light Utility Helicopter has been recognized by the Department of Defense as a top performing program, with all aircraft delivered on time and within budget. In addition, the company is proposing its AAS-72X for the U.S. Army’s armed scout helicopter mission.

Civil aircraft

Through its American Eurocopter operating unit, EADS North America supplies the broadest and most comprehensive range of civil turbine helicopters on the market – from the five-seat EC120 light single to the 19-seat EC225 heavy twin.

The company is the leading supplier in four segments – air medical, law enforcement, tourism and VIP transport – and is the second largest supplier in two additional markets: offshore and utility.

Maintenance, repair, overhaul

EADS North America’s industrial presence in the United States is enhanced by its support of EADS tactical multi-mission aircraft. This work is performed at the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Delivery Center operated by Airbus Military North America, an EADS North America Company, in Mobile, Alabama.

The MRO facility provides North American operators of the C-212 and CN-235 tactical transports with the capabilities of a certified FAA Repair Station, as well as direct support from the aircraft manufacturer.
