EADS North America
EADS North America, with its affiliate Astrium North America, serves America’s civil space flight market, supporting the development of vehicles, equipment and services necessary to maintain and extend human presence in space.
An important part of the EADS North America strategy is to cooperatively develop products with U.S. partner companies and deploy them as turnkey service offerings that minimize lifecycle costs. Additionally, EADS North America provides government and industry relations for EADS Space activities in the U.S. – including technical procurement, export control assistance, research and business guidance.
EADS North America’s presence in the space segment is highlighted by its five-year contract to provide commercial radar satellite data from its TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X satellites to the U.S. government’s National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for use in intelligence, military and homeland security applications.
