EADS North America
Jose Antonio de la Fuente is the Vice President of Transport and Mission Aircraft at EADS North America.
De la Fuente is responsible for all Line of Business activities related to transport and mission aircraft for the U.S. federal government.
Prior to joining EADS North America in 2009, De la Fuente worked for EADS CASA North America in sales and operations. In this role, he was responsible for capture efforts, business operations and sales of EADS CASA military transport and mission aircraft in the United States.
De la Fuente joined CASA in 1999 prior to the formation of EADS. His experience includes different positions in EADS CASA marketing in Spain, and one year in Airbus certification in France.
Prior to EADS CASA, de la Fuente worked for GMV two years in Spain, where he was a software systems engineer assigned to the test-bed system for the Galileo satellite program.
De la Fuente earned his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Aeronaúticos at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Spain, and holds a Master of Business Administration with honors degree from George Washington University, Washington D.C.
